Juniper Hot Springs bubble up out of the ground outside of Lay, Colorado. By searching history we became aware of the unique fact that the waters, according
to a U.S. Government analysis made in 1939, contains 24 minerals. Only two other similar
springs exist and they are found in Europe. All of these minerals in Juniper Hot Springs have been found
beneficial.
For centuries the Native Americans camped near Juniper Mountain to use the spring. Many relics,
spearheads, corn grinders and other artifacts were found which showed at least 5 permanent camps

We are open for swimming and soaking in the relaxing pools of Juniper Springs.
Hours of operation are 9am to 7pm daily. Cost is $5/person, children 5 and under are free.
Camping is available by Advance Reservation Only, please contact Roy McAnally 970.326.6566
Cost for a campsite is $10/night, does not include soaking in the pools.
*Overnight campers must adhere to daily hours of operation 9am-7pm
